Boeing creates $100 million 737 Max victim fund

Boeing is starting a $100 million fund for the families and communities of the people who died in the two 737 Max crashes since last October. -
These funds will support education, hardship and living expenses for impacted families, community programs, and economic development in impacted communities. -
Boeing employees can also make donations which will be matched by Boeing through December 31, 2019 -
A lawyer who is representing the families of 23 victims on the crash, said that the announcement is not going over well with the families he's spoken with. -
Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg said, "We hope this initial outreach can help bring them comfort." -
